Suspended Motion, 2021

Suspended Motion is a film about movements and sensations responding to touch, light and sound. This is explored in the relationship between complex disabled (deafblind) dancers, who lead non-disabled dancers in a bespoke sensory environment.

It is part of an ongoing investigation exploring how the arts can be inclusive to everyone, by blending technology, dance and film. It pilots new forms of access, using audio description, subtitling and vibrations (using SubPac technology)

The film has been screened at eight international film festivals, and nominated for Royal Television Society Best Digital Creativity and Best Craft and Post Production.
