Neelam’s Story - Piya More Music video was commissioned by artist Rekesh Chauhan, sponsored by the British Asian Trust and portrays the true story/case study of a young girl, Neelam (name changed to protect her identity) who experienced mental health matters. She was able to receive the crucial mental health services that she required thanks to the British Asian Trust. Shot during lockdown, the film depicts an emotive and visual representation told through dance, featuring BBC4 young dancer competitor Shree Savani with director of photography Daniel Alexander.

The film was released on World Mental Health Day on 10th October 2020, gaining 31k views online. Arts can enable difficult conversations and this musical film aims to raise awareness of mental health.
