A short documentary screened at eight international film festivals and won Best Short Film at the UK Asian Film Festival. Its screenings span the UK, India and Australia, including BAFTA-qualifying festivals and presented at MoMA in New York.
Commissioned by the Living and Learning Design Centre (LLDC), the film celebrates the traditional craft of cattle-bell making in Kutch and the artisans keeping this heritage alive. It delves into the tale of the artisans, the animals and farmers who find solace in the healing melodies of this traditional bell known as the 'Kharki'.
